This year we are entering the 4th round of 'Advent in a Bottle'.
That is an Advent calendar on Instagram with 24 artists from all over the world.

As the initiator, I opened the calendar with an illustration of a Grimm's fairy tale on December 1st. Every year it is a great pleasure to work with the artists and then enjoy a new winter or festive work of art every day.
Follow the Hashtag #adventinabottle to recieve it.

A Grimm's fairy tale
An impoverished orphan girl, with only what she carries with her, wanders through a cold winter night. She meets some people in need, out of pity, she gives them all of her warmth clothes one by one. God sees her selfless sacrifices and causes stars fall from heaven, which turns into thalers. The girl never had to worry again.

A very short, heartwarming story. When we encounter cold days in which we feel homeless and cold, do we share what is left of us? Honestely? What if we meet such a selfless person. We take all? Maybe that's why the story is so touching, because we recognize the great kindness of this girl.

simple motion graphic with Adobe Fresco
If you animate an illustration, there are a few things you should consider in advance:
- Draw moving elements in extra layers
- Continue drawing the areas behind the moving objects on the background layers

When animating, the number of frames should have a common multiple for both frame-by-frame and paths. I like working in the 12th number range.
1| path animation of the stars:
For a nice transition, only animate one star per path (not a row).  Don't let the paths all start at the same starting point. Zooming in/out makes it look even more dynamic.

2| frame-by-frame manipulation of hair and branches
Use the warp tool to change the position of the branch tips or the hair minimally in each frame. I separated the hair into back hair and front hair using layers

3| frame-by-frame animation for stars and moonlight
Use a soft brush to change the volume of stars and moonlight frame-by-frame. For all animation levels, note that you can divide the frame number by 60.
